XDG2 Ultrasonic Generators
Ultrasonic generators from the XDG2 series are compatible with ultrasonic welding machines from the Electrical Motion2 series and are also suitable for operating VEM2 actuators.
Audit trail, data export, multi-level user administration and remote maintenance are just a few of the many functions supported by the XDG2.
These ultrasonic generators are ideal for precise, high-quality welding results and for ensuing traceability.

Advantages of the XDG2/SCU2 ultrasonic generator
Suitable for cleanrooms
The XDG2 series is suitable for cleanrooms and certified to ISO 14644-1 ISO class 6.
8 welding modes to choose from
Thanks to the welding modes, you can find the right setting for every application, meaning that perfect welding is guaranteed. The following welding modes can be selected on the XDG2 series:
- Welding time
- Welding energy
- Welding time AND/OR welding energy
- Welding travel (abs. or diff.)
- Contact cut-off
- Multi Melt Control
Trigger (ultrasonic trigger point)
The welding operation can be initiated using a trigger. You can choose from the following triggers:
- Time
- Travel
- Force
- off
- external signal
- Travel absolute and force
Highest levels of repeatability
The database for the two ultrasonic welding machines can store as many parameter data sets as required. It is also possible to store welding data automatically until the 500 GB memory is full.
User administration
Multi-level user administration.
Audit Trail
All events and changes to the parameters are automatically logged in the audit trail. This ensures quality and traceability. The audit trail cannot be deleted.
Adjustable amplitude
You can change the value for the amplitude between 40% and 100% in 1% increments to achieve the best possible welding or cutting result.
Interfaces
The XDG2 boasts the following interfaces:
- 5 USB ports
- 20 digital inputs
- 20 digital outputs, 3 of which are freely programmable
- 1 analogue input
- 1 analogue output
- 2 Ethernet ports
- 1 RS232 port
- PROFINET
Data export
A data string can be exported via RS232 to log welding data.
High process reliability
RINCO generators operate very reliably and have a long service life.
Stroke movement – Freely programmable
Optimise your welding process by adjusting the stroke movement of the application accordingly.
The following are freely programmable:
- Lowering speed
- Touchdown speed
- Welding process (10 steps)
- Braking point
- Force profile
- Speed profile
Remote access – Remote maintenance
The remote access service can be set up for remote maintenance. This allows quick and efficient troubleshooting by our RINCO after-sales service.
